Mr. Messier was the owner of this franchise that lasted one season. During the season, this set was given away to the first 1,000 fans that attended the game and the entire time (including Mr. Messier) participated in an autograph session after the game. This is truely a rare item for any Messier collector. The card size is slightly smaller that the standard trading cards and all cards are autographed in black sharpie.
